Buy Them While You Still Can
The general season Utah elk and deer permits have gone on sale today and they are predicted to go quick. Chances are if you wait too long you might miss out. Last year the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources sold out their archery tags on June 18.

Let the blog off begin!
Let the blog off begin! So here is my first attempt at writing a blog. The only thing I can think about that I am very passionate about is Hunting Rocky Mountain style.
I have just drawn the limited entry bookcliffs roadless elk tag and to say I'm excited would be an understatement. The area is a roadless meaning there is not access to for vehicles whatsoever. The hunt starts on September 23. This weekend I'm heading down to the area to check it out and see what there is to be found. This will be my first big backpacking adventure on horseback. Hopefully I can get some good pictures to show for it maybe even my 400 inch bull.
