Here is the bull we took on opening morning of the general season any bull elk hunt. We spotted this bull at 830 yards and since the shot conditions weren't ideal we cut the distance to 750 yards. After we a little spike we never saw came walking out of the trees some 10 yards from where our bull went down. Two other guys came over and ended up using my dads gun to make another 750 yard shot on that spike. The spike literally took two steps after the shot and fell over.
