Let the blog off begin! So here is my first attempt at writing a blog. The only thing I can think about that I am very passionate about is Hunting Rocky Mountain style.
I have just drawn the limited entry bookcliffs roadless elk tag and to say I'm excited would be an understatement. The area is a roadless meaning there is not access to for vehicles whatsoever. The hunt starts on September 23. This weekend I'm heading down to the area to check it out and see what there is to be found. This will be my first big backpacking adventure on horseback. Hopefully I can get some good pictures to show for it maybe even my 400 inch bull.
There is nothing that can beat rocky mountain hunting. Whether your chasing mule deer in the high country or chukars out in the desert you can't beat the enjoyment that Rocky Mountain Hunting brings.
